If we go by anime logic(and Sonic the Hedgehog comics)…any parent desperate enough to do anything it takes to save their child, while having access to extremely advanced technology/being the creator of said technology.
Sadly, the resulting creation doesn’t tend to have memories of their former self(eg: Nicole from the Sonic the Hedgehog comics).
Edit: I’d just like to say that this comic has given me heavy inspiration for an oc of my own I’ve been tweaking for several years now.
