So the mice were lied to about what reconditioning is.

Suprise suprise.

There’s a high probability that one, or both of them failed the exam and are both going through reconditioning as this story progresses.

However it seems like something isn’t working correctly as Mix seems to be regaining her memories rather than losing them entirely(assuming she’s currently going through reconditioning).

Either that or «reconditioning» is just the mask the Consortium is using to hide that they’re killing any xeno that fail.

Huh, well that descriptions sounds kind of like how a parent tells a child about how they pet was taken to the farm when they got too sick to be taken care of.

Something tells me the reality is far different from the rosy pictures depicting the idea.
