Uh… Mel? You probably shouldn’t waste time crying and go find Pixi before she’s amongst those chosen to be turned into a cyborg.

And I’m guessing freewill WON’T be a function for those unfortunate enough to be given this procedure.

Also wouldn’t be making cyborgs cost even more than just making Xenos? Guess the Consortium has an endless supply of cash to blow..must be taxing the hell out of civilians to fund their horror show.

The Consortium has almost unlimited resources, and where most stories take place, their own managed city, they carry out whatever insanity in order to bring more power, control or just advantage for «humanity».

Pretty sure they just claim everything is «for humanity» so no one questions them or the ethics behind what they’re doing; while in truth everything they do is to further tighten their grip on humanity as a whole.

I made these stories under the impression that «ethics» aren’t exactly universal, and that given the conditions, we could have a worse humanity. They value control above everything, as a way to «survive» in whatever dystopian order they desire.

if this were anything like spiderverse where we could just use some wrist device to cross realities… i would do that and slap those consortium lab empolyee one by one in the face with my weak hands, and say
«i don’t care if i slap like a wet noodle, i will not tolerate abuse!… JERK!!!»
