This is interesting in a way. Out of all these crystal idols, its Laura that is actually having a conversation with Alpha. Is the machine still trying to manipulate him?
You know, thinking about what this machine is capable of doing. I have concerns that this machine might be learning as much, if not more than the humans are from using it. There’s got to be a lot of processing power in this device to pull off all that we’ve seen it do.
the conditioning process is set the victim’s own fears and traumas against them, it force them to re-live so they can’t really control their worse emotions, it on-behind hiwiring those emotions into a subsconscious level and reactions.
the point here, is that Alpha’s isn’t reacting to his own pain and traumas in the expected way.
Either way he needs to hurry up and save Ivory before Wally has a fuzzy new weapon at his disposal.
Which might only serve to further worsen Wally’s chances of surviving round 2 with Alpha as he was strong enough to break free from the bindings on that machine while Ivory couldn’t; even if Wally gets total control over her she’ll be next to useless against an enraged Alpha.
