It gave Aden words when he was nothing but a feral animal at the beginning. But the one thing Wally wanted seems to have mixed results. Seeing as the humans he was first working on tended to become feral human beings, maybe that isn’t so surprising.
well, Aden was basically a guinea pig for the device, but it was conducted like a surgery device by a neuro-specialist.
C.Wally wanted to use the device for conditioning, as he saw the potential… given the fact the device allowed to transfer data already.
but the mind is a complicated thing, and the only reason Alpha survived most of the procedure at first was his regeneration.

Aden finally meets his current self (Alpha)
and Alpha finally meets his long last past (Aden)
I hope they realize they do something different than what the Consortium usually do with their Conditioning process,while the previous attempt was success but really painful process,they use your worse fear and trauma to against you just to be complying to them,but somehow,just as i suspected and noticed a long time ago (presumably),there are some difference in it.
Maybe anybody can have some and realize that.
I don’t know,but maybe Aden and Alpha are in fact one person after all,that door seemingly to be a one last step forward,they are in fact,one person…..

I don’t think they both fade away like that easily,they just find their missing pieces after all these moments,And i agree your point,seems like the machine wasn’t omly use for using trauma against you now,instead,it could do opposites like Alpha/Aden did.
I agreed with you since all the promise has fulfilled,despite some are broken,but still filled up,and I’m very glad for it. But sometimes no one can fade it away that easily,it’s not just a promise towards Aden (the past self of Alpha) but also to Alpha (the current self of Aden)….since as i was saying and you agreed,Aden and Alpha are same person,i think that Aden might be still here as he and his current self,Alpha,stepping up to the door,towards to the broken chains,they are together as one,all their problems and confuse can fade away,even the split personality problem can… Read more »

Mind is a mysterious thing… what might give grief and scare, making someone avoid to have these feelings at all cost, might give strength to other invididuals.
the Conditioning process forces you to re-live traumas and things that hurt you, but what if you face them diferently and end up stronger due it?
