My guess is no, since he seems excited and Dr. Jerkbeard wanted nothing more than to be rid of the xenos. But if this program is finally yielding results he thinks are applicable to something he wants to work on, he might change his tune. And it wouldn’t be the first time I failed to recognize a character in this comic due to a change in the presence or absence of facial hair.
He’s likely going to get a few tears on his face relatively soon. That woman probably will too.
Alpha’s a ticking time bomb at this point and all that needs to happen to set him off is one mistake. An oversight that’ll cost them everything; and I doubt they’ll be able to shoot him in the head as easily this time.
