Some of these scientist types really are just as bad as F.O.E..
They’ve literally given animals full on sapients, and they use them as disposable assets for experimentation and security and maybe other things (Depending on how the future unfolds.) Considering their treatment, it isn’t so surprising in one timeline that the human race is extinct.
