I have to wonder how long until Alpha being a literal bullet sponge comes back to bite the Consortium in the ass?
They may have weakened his regeneration ability with medication, but he can still soak up a lot of damage before going down and none of them seem to realize how problematic that could be if he were to…say…turn on them. Hell, even Beta seems to have some regeneration ability herself.
Granted a bullet to the head is still super effective.
