So like, noe I wonder which theory was right, was she made to think herself human? She might have accidentally revealed herself by going outside????? Then again this kinda gives me a similar vibe to whatever the heck goes on in Aiden’s mind in that Project prime comic thingy.
Something tells me she might be unable control doing whatever she’s doing to Laura for much longer now that she’s hearing her own daughter screaming in pain.
Also Alpha’s going to be absolutely pissed when he finds out she’s still alive and he was like to again. Any chance of obedience will be gone(I wonder if Daniel’s going to reveal the truth to him?)

Also that looks like the same machine from a side story, though the headpiece is new, and I’m pretty sure it was an endurance/torture device designed to see how long the victim could endure an extreme amount of pain, though it seems like it’s also doing something to her head drawing out unexpected memories for a grieving mother to hear…likely to have the result of her stopping whatever she’s doing because it’s clear she is struggling with listening to the sound of her own daughter screaming in pain.
