Laura’s recent brainwashing will likely also have some effects on their interactions. Though…Alpha’s dream sequence looked like he’d been subjected to the Neuropathy device at aome point too. It seemed to have an unintentional side effect of restoring some of his lost memories, and a memory of Laura even appears to have broken the hold the device should have given the Consortium over him…maybe the same thing is happening with Laura now too? It’s possible, despite the control the Consortium currently has over her, that Alpha/Aden’s sudden appearance before her might shatter that control. Alpha’s memory is just a number of flashes and pictures from the data ge received. Laura’s mind in other hand could have been wiped clean in order to make her docile, it was tampered before, and most likely it was tampered again. Either way, it’s up to them to remember. But the outcome could be any, from revelations, to catastrophic. Only time will tell.
Pretty sure they tried to wipe Alpha’s memories too, but clearly failed to wipe everything. Hence the flashes of jumbled up memories. Laura’s memories, on the other hand, seem to be more complete; and possibly totally fabricated. Maybe they combined human Laura’s and Xeno Laura’s memories to create a fake past? That thought has serious implications regarding Berit’s daughter and what lead to her death…could the Consortium have been behind that? Did they kill her to cover up a secret experiment they’d been running on Berit’s daughter without her knowledge? Was her husband behind them? He DID create Xeno Laura… Read more »
Well,i should know about this,i shoild realize it could happen,and somehow- Wait! Is that a transition from monotone black and white and yellow comics to full color? Does anything hint for the future of Derideal as well as the chapter itself and the next one as well as the future chapter? What does it means for and has to do with Dr. Carlos Wally and Dr. Berit Orzoco,and boy,i have a another suspect to happen.
